The sun is shining down hot! Which around here means it's primetime to go out into the world we live in and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ! This summer we have made plans to spread across Colorado Springs, put our hands to the plow,cast the precious seed of eternal hope into hearts, and come rejoicing as we bring in the harvest. Jesus said to pray for laborers to accomplish His task, and that's exaclty what we are looking for.

Our strategy this summer is more than announcing an outreach, showing up, and seeing what God will do; but prepare the spiritual ground where we are going to plant and advance the Kingdom of God there. So the battle plans are as follows:

1. Pray! Get on our knees throughout the weeks doing spiritual warfare against the strongholds Satan has in the homes and communities we are reaching out to.

2. On the Thursday night before the Saturday outreach, at 7:00 pm, haveour outreach team go to the area we will be at to pass out flyers and witness.

3. On Saturday morning before the outreach, at 10:00 am, have another team go in the area and get out some more flyers.

4. Have the park outreach with food, music, drama, and as many people as can come to help us testify, serve, and tell others about Jesus.

5. The following Tuesday night, have another team go back into the same area, and do a follow-up outreach with those that came to the outreach, as well as those who didn't. Simple as that, but we need your help. We are looking for Christians who can commit themselves during the summer to do any of the following:

-Thursday outreach 7pm

-Saturday morning outreach 10am

-Tuesday outreach 7pm

-Spend 30 minutes at home one night of the week praying for the outreach 

The outreaches won't be happening every single week through the summer, so you can look at the schedule and make plans to be a part of what you can.

We will be sending out a sign up for each outreach as it approaches, so we can get our teams together.

We look forward to all God is going to do in our city, and in each of your lives in the midst of it all!

Jesus has given us His marching orders in Mark 16:15, "...Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." We are aggressive in evangelism (concerts, door-to-door outreach, etc.). There is a Thursday evening outreach and a Saturday morning outreach, both are open to those who want to join others in what we call grass roots evangelism, going door-to-door and bringing Jesus to the highways and byways. Thursday night meets at 7PM in the foyer, Saturday morning meets at 11AM.

Along with these weekly outreach times we frequently take a team of people to our fellowship churches located in other cities and sometimes other states. When these occasions arise there is usually an announcement and sign up available, these are great opportunities to be involved in our other churches.
